Welcome to New Life Baptist Church, a place where faith, community and love converge to create a welcoming haven for all. Our church exists to be a beacon of God’s love to our community and beyond. By adhering to the teachings of the Bible and being led by the Holy Spirit, we strive to be a welcoming family where faith is deepened, relationships are strengthened, and lives are transformed to be more like Christ. We believe that God has given us a clear command to tell others about Him and as such It is our desire to declare the good news of Jesus Christ within our local community, Australia and throughout this world.

Our Pastor

Meet Pastor Keegan and his wife Amabel. They were married in 2012 and have four amazing children – Ava, Eli, Ezekiel and “hurricane” Judah! 

Keegan is a trained pilot who had a desire to “take to the skies” however God changed his plans and called him into the Gospel ministry. He attended West Coast Baptist College and graduated with a Bachelor of Pastoral Theology in 2021. Keegan is a self-confessed aviation nerd and Penrith Panthers fanatic!

As a Pastor, Keegan is passionate about shepherding God’s people and together with his wife they have a desire to invest their time, effort and resources into reaching the lost for Christ.

OUR YOUTH LEADERS

Kyle & Salma Brown are passionate young missionaries from Mexico with a God-given burden for the people of Australia. Their heartfelt desire is to plant a church here in the coming years.

Currently, Kyle and Salma lead our youth ministry, Ignite Youth. They bring energy, creativity, and authenticity to the group, creating a fun and welcoming environment where young people can learn more about Jesus and grow in their faith.

Tim & Julianna Miller

Tim Miller is a retired U.S. Navy Admiral who, while preparing for retirement, felt a clear calling from the Lord to serve and minister to the people of New Life Baptist Church. In obedience to that call, Tim and Julianna and their children relocated from Hawaii to Sydney, Australia in January 2025.

Aside from serving as a Pastoral Assistant, Tim leads our Adult Ministry, bringing wisdom, leadership, and a heart for discipleship. Julianna oversees New Life Kids, passionately guiding the next generation in their walk with Christ. Their eldest daughter, Avery, also supports the church by assisting with weekly administrative tasks.

  • Sunday School begins at 1:00pm and runs for 45 minutes. Our main service starts at 2:00pm and typically lasts about 1 hour. After the service, we enjoy a time of fellowship with light refreshments—a great opportunity to connect and get to know one another!

  • There are no dress requirements for members or guests of New Life. Our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit.

  • Our worship service blends a variety of hymns and praise songs that glorify our Saviour.

  • We want our service to be a gift to you. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
